2022 Virtual National Conference

April 19th to 22nd

Re-imagining Philanthropy: Tensions, Opportunities & Priorities

On behalf of the Canadian Research Partnership Network on Philanthropy, we invite you to participate in PhiLab's first national virtual conference on "Re-imagining Philanthropy".

The objectives of the conference are to:

Target audience: Professionals from the philanthropic ecosystem, the public sector, civil society organizations, and academia.

Re-Imagining Philanthropy will be an opportunity to participate in the writing of a narrative that proposes mapping out a philanthropy that draws on different traditions - Indigenous and non-Indigenous, Western and non-Western across Turtle Island to reinvigorate the age-old traditions of giving and sharing, caring and solidarity, and to reinvigorate the values of equity, respect for identity, and justice in all its forms. The conference has been designed to make heard a variety of voices, carriers of knowledge, ideas, proposals, claims, and testimonies, in order to draw the contours of a philanthropy that meets the conditions necessary for the success of a social and ecological transition.
